Thursday night's Teenage Cancer Trust benefit at Royal Albert Hall in London concluded on a star-studded note as Paul McCartney invited Roger Daltrey of the Who, Paul Weller of the Jam and Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones to join him for the final song, "Get Back."
Jeremy, who attended the show, told us McCartney was in great spirits, joking with the lively audience and handling shout-outs with aplomb! "Definitely one of my top McCartney gigs," he wrote us. He said there was an intimate atmosphere in the hall as McCartney recalled the Beatles playing there in the '60s.
The evening began on an emotional note as as a young cancer survivor named Lucy joined Roger Daltrey to welcome everyone and tell her story and how the Teenage Cancer Trust had helped her.
