Paul McCartney: "Scrambled Eggs", the duet of McCartney and Fallon is officially released Published on 12/06/2012 20:10, (MACCA BLOG)
The duo interprets "Scrambled Eggs", a parody of "Yesterday". On 11 December 2010, McCartney participated at the Saturday Night Live on NBC. The weekly program consists of sketches, parodies and musical samples. McCartney played "Scrambled Eggs", a duet with Jimmy Fallon.
Fans will be aware that Paul woke up with the melody of "Yesterday" in his head having dreamt it in his sleep. Originally the lyrics were "Scrambled eggs. Oh my baby how I love your legs", until he came up with the words we now all know and love. Paul and Jimmy build on these original lyrics in their duet.
