Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery has ended her five month relationship to Holby City actor Joseph Millson.
The 30-year-old actress, who plays Lady Mary in the hugely popular show, began dating Joseph earlier this year - and it seemed their relationship was getting stronger by the day.
Last month he accompanied her to Los Angeles for the Emmy Awards, where she was nominated for best dramatic actress.
However, she is said to have dumped the actor, and the 38-year-old is believed to be heartbroken over the split.
A friend of Joseph told The Sunday Mirror: 'He’s heartbroken. The split was unexpected and it’s still very raw for him. Joseph’s a really down-to-earth guy. He’s understandably upset.'
Joseph has recently posted a series of downbeat tweets, including: 'Just wait for someone worth being in a relationship with, stop wasting your time on the ones who don’t deserve you.'
