Kate Middleton won't get lost in the royal shuffle thanks to Prince Phillip KATE MIDDLETONOCTOBER 20, 2012BY: ROZ ZURKO (EXAMINER)

Kate Middleton has not only captured the heart of her nation, she’s also made an impression on Prince Phillip, the grandfather of Prince William. Prince Phillip rarely intervenes in the workings of the monarchy, but that has changed, according to a report from Celeb Dirty Laundry on Saturday October 20, 2012. Kate's new grandfather-in-law is watching out for her these days and making sure she doesn't get lost in the royal shuffle!

When the Queen decided to pass the monarchy onto Prince Charles and Camilla when she retires, this didn’t go over very well with Phillip. The elder royal thinks it should be William and Kate that step into the highest roles of the royal family. Rumor has it that the Queen didn’t want to bypass Charles because she feared if she did Camilla would “destroy the monarchy with scandal and outrage if she was passed over.” This sounds like a royal case of the squeaky wheel getting the oil.”

Phillip is allegedly putting his foot down when it comes to Camilla, who’s been hard at work trying to convince the Queen that the job of running the monarchy should go to Charles, with Camilla by his side. She’s also done her best to remind Kate around every turn that she’s nothing more than a commoner.

Rumor has it that Camilla make's Kate's life a bit harder than it needs to be by shooting snide remarks her way every chance she gets. Apparently there's a bit of jealousy about the loving embrace that Kate has gotten from the world when Camilla was barely tolerated when she married Charles.
