Martin Freeman has said that he is eager to watch his performance in The Hobbit before it goes on general release.
The actor - who plays Bilbo Baggins in the Peter Jackson adaptation - admitted that he was desperate to see the feature for the first time.
"I'm excited about me seeing it because I haven't seen it," he told ITN News.
"I don't know, I think there's a possibility I won't [see it] or if I do it'll be just before the public see [it]. I don't anticipate seeing it much before then.
"I want to like it before anything else, you know? I want to be pleased with it and I want to be proud of it and I hope I am."
The Sherlock Holmes star described Jackson as "a very clever man" and revealed that working with Andy Serkis - who plays Gollum in the film - was a highlight for him.
