Fifty Shades of Henry Cavill, why the 'Man of Steel' is Christian Grey FIFTY SHADES OF GREYFEBRUARY 6, 2013BY: BARBIE KAVETSKY (EXAMINER)
The debate over who should play Christian Grey began the moment the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie was announced and will continue to rage on until Universal Pictures announces the official cast for the film. E L James has said she has a few favorites but it is likely the author, who began as a huge "Twilight" fan, already had an actor in mind while writing the erotic trilogy. When looking at the facts, all signs point to Henry Cavill. On Feb 5, Brits United (THAT'S ME - LEAGUE OF BRITISH ARTISTS - YIKES - GOT THE BLOG NAME WRONG THOUGH) discussed the top 5 reasons Cavill should be cast as Christian Grey, some of which are mentioned here. Yet results on Feb 6 of a Wetpaint poll show the actor in fourth place behind favorites like Ian Somerhalder. This list will delve a little deeper into why Henry Cavill was likely the inspiration for Christian Grey and what makes him perfect for the role. Maybe the poll numbers will begin to shift as a result.
