Michael Fassbender was recently on the Graham Norton show to take care of his busy promotional duties, and he spoke briefly about the possibility of Prometheus 2 as well as goofing off with James McAvoy on the set of ‘X-Men: First Class’.
When asked about the whether he would be shooting the sequel to Prometheus, Fassbender replied, “I think so, I don’t know. If it makes enough money, they contract you [to do another one]. If they make enough money, they usually go for another one.”
He also talks about his friendship with James McAvoy and narrates an incident that got them both into a lot of trouble during the X-Men: First Class shoot in London. He says, “[James] is pretty crazy. Yeah, he’s fantastic, but he’s crazy. We were just mucking about, you know, those golf carts that go between studios or whatever. So yeah, James jumped behind the wheel and he was off….through his creative driving, essentially…we went flying into base camp, and the wheels dug in a little too much so we took a little swerve to the left and crashed into the back of a Lexus and he went flying out of the car which was fine, but I went flying over the back and ended up where he was sitting so I got the blame for everything.”
