Red alert: Benedict Cumberbatch leaves a London night club hand-in-hand with a ginger friend

Benedict's night club look was far less clean cut than the designer suits he's usually spotted in on the red carpet.

The 37-year old actor kept it simple in a white T-shirt, faded black jeans, a grey blazer and black high-tops, while covering his dark dyed hair with a baker boy hat.

He held tightly to his female friend's red manicured hand, but it's unclear whether their relationship is romantic or platonic.
