He needed to slim down to portray a prisoner of war in new film The Railway Man.

But Colin Firth seems to be happy with his trimmer frame, and has notched up his fitness efforts by employing a personal trainer to help maintain his new physique

And it seemed the workout expert was pushing Colin, 52, to his limit, as they powered through a run near his London home.
