Brendan Gleeson will star alongside his son Domhnall when he teams up next month with director John Michael McDonagh to shoot new movie Calvary.
Shadow Dancer star Domhnall Gleeson (29) has landed a part opposite his dad's lead role in the €5m production which will be filmed over five weeks in Sligo and the east coast of Ireland.
Gleeson - probably best known for his role as Mad-Eye Moody in the Harry Potter films - will portray Fr James Lavelle, who is tormented by various members of his Sligo parish.

Brendan Gleeson: Touching link to his parent in show (INDEPENDENT)
By Barry Egan
Away to Kilkenny, where I stayed at the adorable Pembroke Hotel, for the arts festival, which was a blazing mix of art, culture, literature and generally jolly times.
The turnout for John Butler and Liza Klaussmann's readings on a theme, Versions of America, was typical of the 10-day bonanza -- informed, eager and easy-going.
John Butler, meanwhile, who read brilliantly from his debut, The Tenderloin, has also penned a series of sketches, Good Will Fun Thing, starring Brendan and Domhnall Gleeson and Amy Huberman, which will be on RTE in December.
Proceeds go to the hospice in Raheny where Brendan Gleeson's parents were nursed.
