Morrissey Joins Anti-Cruelty Cosmetics Campaign
Singer Morrissey is stepping up his animal rights work by joining a campaign against vivisection.
The former The Smiths frontman was named Person of the Year by the U.K. branch of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) last month (Dec11) for his tireless campaigning.
Now it's emerged he's joined Sir Paul MCCartney and former Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt by adding his name to the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection's (Buav) No Cruel Cosmetics drive.
Morrissey says, "Say no to injecting, force-feeding or forcing animals to inhale substances for a new lipstick or shampoo. Please join me in signing the Buav No Cruel Cosmetics petition to stop the sale of new animal tested cosmetics in the EU."
