Wearing a tracksuit a baseball cap pulled down low over his eyes, Butler, who usually waves and smiles for the cameras, wore a hangdog expression looked decidedly more low profile than usual. He has made a career about of being a favourite with the ladies in films like PS I Love You and Phantom of the Opera, but the 42-year old Scot may have taken his love of the fairer sex too far.

Gerard Butler is the talk of the town after he reportedly had an affair with an up-and-coming actress that resulted in the end of her marriage.
