The last episode only aired three months ago, but fans of Ripper Street will be glad to see the gritty series will return.

Actors Matthew Macfadyen, Jerome Flynn and Adam Rothenberg will be back with a bang as they began filming the highly anticipated second series on Tuesday in Dublin, Ireland.

The crime fighting case solving trio were seen relaxing between shoots as a more grizzly storyline was being set up just by them.
