Until now it has been rumored that Madalina Ghenea and Gerard Butler have split, and now there’s confirmation from the Scottish actor.
While was on a visit in Germany, reporters from German website Filmreporter.de asked him if he is in a serious relationship.
Butler answered: “Not at the moment.”
“But at some point I do want to settle down,” he added.
The Scottish actor had a relationship for almost a year with beautiful model/actress Madalina Ghenea.

Not surprised they split, all through their relation she has put out lies about them, how they met, how serious they were, how in good terms she was with his family, where she was for Christmas when all those were lies and not true.
In a recent taped interview, she told the reporter he was cheap and that all Scots are cheap. To me no big surprise if he heard how cheap he was when he spent a fortune on her last year (it seems she only wanted to be with him for his money and fame as she's not a real model, has very little real modeling portfolio pictures; Milanese themselves said she's not a super model and they would know; she's not a real actress either and her claims she wants to take acting lessons are just to put to sleep the rumors about herself that she hasn't approved of as so far she has not gone and done anything to become a real actress) that he was cheap and he wouldn't be too happy to hear that his fellow Scotsmen are cheap either when everybody who has met Scots know that they're very generous people once they've taken a liking to you.
