Hugh Laurie Addicted to Twitter

Hugh Laurie is now a regular Twitter user after saying he wasn't a fan and did not "understand" the social networking site.

The former 'House' star appeared on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' alongside Celine Dion on Tuesday (29.10.13) and the chat show host found out he had joined the micro-blogging site.

Afterwards, Jimmy tweeted: "Hugh Laurie is officially on twitter. But you'd never guess his name - it's @Jlumbrozo. Seriously. It is. Welcome Hugh. (sic)"

The actor and musician, who has released his critically-acclaimed debut, Let Them Talk, posted: "Having damned this technology as the seed of Satan, I finally succumb. Let tyrants tremble. And so forth."

The 54-year-old actor previously said he "does not understand" the social networking phenomenon, despite pal Stephen Fry being an avid user.

But although he didn't participate much until now, he said his friend's comments were "the absolute best - the cream of the crop".

Bee Gee’s Robin Gibb Honored at Billboard Awards (THE GUARDIAN EXPRESS)

Robin Gibb of the Bee Gee’s has died at the age of 62 after battling colon and liver cancer. He may not be a Michael Jackson, or Paul Mccartney, however, Robin Gibb will be remembered by millions of fans as having one of the most remarkable soulful voices. Today we are left with his memory and a catalogue of music that is only second to Lennon and McCartney as the most successful songwriting unit in British popular music. The group wrote big hits for Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Celine Dion, Dionne Warwick, Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross and others, along with their own number one hits.

Born in Manchester, England, in 1949, Gibb’s formed the Bee Gees with his brothers Barry and Maurice in 1958, embarking on a music career that would span six decades. During this period the brothers would release hits that included Stayin’ Alive, How Deep Is Your Love, How Can You Mend A Broken Heart, Massachusetts and Night Fever. Gibb sang lead on his first number one hit “Massachusetts”, when he was 17.
