Charlie Hunnam - **Spoiler Alert** Charlie Hunnam Cried At Emotional Sons Of Anarchy Scenes

CONTACT MUSIC
by WENN | 27 December 2014

Actor Charlie Hunnam broke down in tears as he shot his final Sons Of Anarchy scenes with his onscreen mother Katey Sagal after having to kill her character on TV.

Sagal tells People magazine, "It was very emotional in a beautiful way. Charlie Hunnam and I cried a lot. We would just hug each other because it was also goodbye for us after working together. We've all been in our own form of denial with the show ending. But there was no turning back."

SPOILERS AHEAD

You kind of had to see this coming, right?

Last night on the series finale of "Sons of Anarchy," Jax Teller, played by Charlie Hunnam, had his last ride and went out in a blaze of glory -- kind of.

After shooting and killing his mother last week, Jax said goodbye to his sons and farewell to his club. There were thoughts by fans that his own club would be his undoing, but alas his death was an event that was definitely a shock in the way it went down.

Jax met his death after being chased by police and intentionally driving his motorcycle into a truck driven by guest star Michael Chiklis, according to the Entertainment Weekly recap.

After the show, show creator Kurt Sutter and show star Hunnam went on "Anarchy Afterword" to talk about the ending after seven years on the air.

"It's the end of a little era for us," Hunnam said, according to E! News. "A lot of sleepless nights and bottles of tequila."

Hunnam, 34, continued about the ending, "We had talked about there being various potential versions of the ending in the beginning of the season and had a couple of conversations."

But Sutter, 50, decided to go with the ending where Jax would end his own life on his own terms. Also, the final ride for Jax mirrored his father's police chase that killed the senior Teller.

‘Sons of Anarchy’ Charlie Hunnam Beats ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Jamie Dornan As ‘King Arthur’

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TIMES
By Riza Ornos | September 1, 2014 4:42 PM EST

Known as SAMCRO's president Jax Teller, "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam, is a top choice to play King Arthur in the upcoming six-series movie. Beating top contenders for the role including "Fifty Shades of Grey" replacement Jamie Dornan, Hunnam is close to signing the contract with director Guy Ritchie.

The sexy Irish actor reportedly returned the favour to Hunnam after scoring the role on E.L. James movie adaptation. Based on reports, Dornan removed himself out of the running for the epic movie as his scheduled clashed with his commitments with "Fifty Shades." Set to premiere on Valentine's Day 2015, the highly anticipated movie was dropped by the SOA star due his show's scheduling conflicts which is currently in its final season.

Poised to reprise his role as Raleigh Becket in Guillermo del Toro's summer hit sequel "Pacific Rim," the Newcastle-born actor is going to have a busy movie career after he wraps up "Sons of Anarchy." Playing one of the most iconic characters in film and English Literature, Hunnam is going to trade his Harley into an Excalibur.

"When you see Hunnam as Jax Teller leading the Sons into the final brutal revenge filled final season, I think you'll agree that he has all the intensity necessary to play King Arthur, and that this is a better post-Sons course for him than playing the S&M fetishist billionaire Christian Grey," Deadline's Mike Fleming Jr. exclusively reports. "A role that Sutter and I agreed is better suited to a newcomer than an established actor on the cusp of movie stardom."

‘Sons of Anarchy' spoilers: More on Charlie Hunnam’s Jax, ‘Black Widower’

CARTERMATT
August 11, 2014

FX has just unveiled some of the first details regarding the “Sons of Anarchy” season 7 premiere, and there are two adjectives that we can use to describe them: Short, and effective. It doesn’t give you anything more than what you need to know, and that is perfectly fine with us given how excited we are right now.

Let us start here first of all with the title of “Black Widower,” and just how awesome that is in itself. Sometimes showrunner Kurt Sutter goes obscure with his titles, or chooses them from another language in a way that makes this show feel like T.S. Eliot. This one is easy to decipher: Jax Teller is alone and without Tara, he is going to go down an epic path of revenge. It’s a nice little twist on the common Black Widow motif, and it is certainly appropriate.

FX never reveals much in the way of a synopsis for this show … and this time is no exception:

“In the wake of Tara’s death, Jax makes vengeance a club priority.”

Surely, you knew this to be true already, thanks mostly to everything that you have probably seen and heard from Sutter and others. Kurt wrote this episode, and it is directed by none other that executive producer and frequent director Paris Barclay, who has a habit of being at the helm for premieres.
