"The von Trapp Family – A Life of Music," a new film from Dutch filmmaker Ben Verbong based on Agathe von Trapp's autobiography, promises to tell the story behind the Sound of Music legend.

Currently shooting on location in Salzburg and Bavaria, the new film stars Eliza Bennett, Matthew Macfadyen and Tony Award winner Rosemary Harris. The film is expected to arrive in theatres this Christmas.

Lionsgate acquired U.S., Canada and U.K. rights on the film. Christoph Silber and Tim Sullivan penned the screenplay based on Agathe von Trapp's "Memories Before and After The Sound of Music."

Here's how the film is billed: "'The von Trapp Family – A Life of Music,' tells the fascinating and exciting story of Agathe von Trapp (Eliza Bennett), who has been searching for her path in life since her youth: She is the eldest daughter among many siblings, and her relationship with her father, the distinguished marine officer Georg von Trapp (Matthew Macfadyen) and his second wife Maria von Trapp (Yvonne Catterfeld), is often difficult. She develops her beautiful voice and stimulating musical talent together with her family and with the support of the famous singer Lotte Lehmann (opera singer Annette Dasch). She constantly struggles for the love of her childhood sweetheart Sigi (Johannes Nussbaum) and, not least, she must confront the menacing rise of fascism in Germany and Austria. Emigration to the U.S. finally brings a decisive step toward freedom and world success.

It's a girl: Reports suggest Keira Knightley and husband  welcomed a baby girl in May.  They have yet to comment on the birth

She has kept mum since giving birth to her first child with husband James Righton last month.

Now reports suggest Keira Knightley is the proud mother of a baby girl.

People claims the 30-year-old actress welcomed a daughter, although no more details were made available.

She explained: 'Somebody said to me the other day, the problem with boys is - sorry, this is horrible - but when you’re changing their nappies, you can get the wee in your face... I never knew that before, so it was terrifying.

'And apparently they roll as well, so you have to try to stop them while you’re trying to grab something else in order to stop them peeing in your face. So that sounds quite interesting.'

Tom Hiddleston reveals character in Crimson Peak, Loki's role in Thor 3; Actor in casual terms with Elizabeth Olsen

VENTURE CAPITAL

Tom Hiddleston

Tom Hiddleston is engaged in a lot of projects right now. He is currently doing Crimson Peak and will start filming Thor 3: Ragnarok Film in the coming days. This favorite villain may confirm what is eating much of his time but not Elizabeth Olsen.

First on his plate is his soon to release movie Crimson Peak. This new film Guillermo Del Toro is a gothic romance in which people can expect the film to be kinky and shocking- as Del Toro puts it. Tom Hiddleston plays the character of Sir Thomas Sharpe whom Hiddleston called the antihero.
Tom described further Sir Thomas Sharpe as "the most morally ambiguous or complex figure in the story, because ... he's genuinely caught in-between people and in-between conflicting emotions and is trying to find the best route through a very, very, difficult tangle of what people need from him and want from him and what he feels is his responsibility to those people" when he was interviewed by Collider. Prior to filming, Tom Hiddleston got so busy studying the 10 pages biography that Director Del Toro gave his actors in preparation for their characters.

As for Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Hiddleston is not ditching Elizabeth because as of press time no one could really prove that the two are seriously hooking up as reported by Youth Health. Just like everyone already knew, the two were just casual and were keeping in touch when not together because the two have been doing a project of Hank Williams' "I Saw The Light". Tom is still very much in the list of the most Eligible Bachelor though rumors about him being link to his co-stars in the film circulate in the internet.

Crimson Peak is scheduled to be in Theaters this October 2015 but as for "I Saw The Light" there has no specific schedule to date.

Epic tale: The movie follows Crowhurst who gave up his life with Clare and their four children to put everything, including all their finances, into the first Golden Globe yacht race

They're two of the country's finest actors and he's an acclaimed Brit filmmaker and now Rachel Weisz and Colin Firth are teaming up with The Theory of Everything director James Marsh.

The talented trio have been spotted shooting scenes for their new film in Devon this week.

Marsh is directing Rachel and Colin in the as yet untitled Donald Crowhurst big screen biopic, which follows the true story of Crowhurst's attempt to circumnavigate the globe in the 1960s.

Nice look! While Rachel flashed her legs in a tartan mini and wellies, Colin was more appropriately dressed in yellow waders

The production has set up camp on the Devon coast for the first few weeks of filming, with Rachel and Colin, who play Crowhurst and his wife Clare, spotted in costume on the beach on Wednesday.

45-year-old Rachel was cast after initial discussions with Kate Winslet fell through, and the actress looked to be getting stuck into her role as the cameras rolled today.

The stunning star was in period costume, wearing a chic trench coat teamed with a green print headscarf and retro round shades for her scenes.

Leading man Colin, 54, meanwhile was dressed for the adventure in bright yellow waders, worn over a smart shirt and tie.

Marsh's movie follows the epic tale of Crowhurst who gave up his life with Clare and their four children to put everything, including all their finances, into the first Golden Globe yacht race.

The film also has a stellar support cast including David Thewlis as Crowhurst's press agent and Broadchurch star Jonathan Bailey, who is starting to make a name for himself on the big screen following last year's Testament of Youth.
