Henry Cavill To Kick Off A Three Month MAN OF STEEL Promo Tour Next Week (COMIC BOOK MOVIE)

The wait is almost over! The promotional tour for Man Of Steel will be gearing up starting next week when when star of the film, Henry Cavill, starts a three month promotional tour in Japan.

The anticipation for Superman's next big screen outing is at an all time high. Fans are axiously awaiting to see what Zack Snyder has cooked up for Superman's triumphant return. While it still seems like the movie is still a while away, some news just hit that makes it feel like it's right around the corner. The people over at HenryCavill.Org are reporting that Man Of Steel star Henry Cavill will be embarking on a three month tour to promote Man Of Steel. The tour will kick off in Japan starting on the dates of March 27th and 28th.

VIDEO: Extra Trailer Footage Hints At Mystery Behind Benedict Cumberbatch's 'Star Trek' VillainIs Cumberbatch set to be Khan




The trailer of 'Star Trek Into Darkness' premiered at midnight last night, but UK and US fans of the sci-fi franchise may have missed something very important.

That's because only in the Japanese version of the trailer was a scene included which could provide a real clue as to the identity of Benedict Cumberbatch's villainous character, shown taking his revenge against the world in all versions.

In a clip not included in the other trailers (from 0:56 onwards) shows Spock and Kirk appearing to re-enact an iconic scene from the 1982 movie 'The Wrath of Khan'. In that movie there was a touching goodbye scene between Spock and Kirk, mirrored in this trailer with the line "Is there anything you would not do for your family?"

Trekkie fever sweeps Japan as stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Chris Pine arrive to promote the sequel Star Trek: Into the Darkness By DAILY MAIL REPORTER (MAIL ON LINE)




The premiere of the newest Star Trek film is still five months away, but Trekkie fever is already sweeping Japan.

Hundreds of fans turned out at Narita Airport to greet stars Chris Pine and Benedict Cumberbatch on Monday as they arrived in Tokyo to promote the long-awaited sequel Star Trek: Into the Darkness.


British actor Cumberbatch, who plays the villain in the latest installment, received his first taste of Star Trek fan's devotion as he stepped off the 12 hour flight from the UK.

Judi Dench receives honour in Japan

Dame Judi Dench has been presented with the Praemium Imperial Award for Theatre and Film from Japan's Prince Hitachi.
Speaking at the event in Toyko, she said she felt "overwhelmed" and "very humbled" at receiving the prestigious award.
Other winners of the Praemium Imperiale were Japanese composer Seiji Ozawa for Music and British sculptor Anish Kapoor in the sculpture category.
