It's only been a few weeks since the US version of The Office aired its final episode.

But the sitcom's favourite couple Pam and Jim Halpert had a little reunion in New York on Tuesday night.

John Krasinski took his real life spouse Emily Blunt to see Jenna Fischer make a dramatic turn in Neil LaBute's new Off-Broadway play Reasons To Be Happy.

John and Emily appeared to be enjoying the cultured evening out as they leisurely strolled to the Lucille Lortel Theatre in the hip neighbourhood of Greenwich Village.

Despite being married since July 2010, the pair looked like newlyweds as they doted on each other while showing their support for Jenna, 39.

Reasons To Be Happy showcases a dramatic turn in the television sitcom actress' career as she tackles the often challenging material concocted by Tony Award nominated playwright LaBute.

According to MCC theatre, who is producing the satiric drama: 'Reasons to Be Happy is a funny, surprising, and poignant new play about the choices and sacrifices we are willing to make in the pursuit of that often elusive ideal: happiness.'

The Off-Broadway production began previews in mid May and will officially open on June 11.

Alan Rickman Will Take Part in The Flea's 2012-13 Season; Hamish Linklater's The Vandal Among Lineup By Michael Gioia 25 Jul 2012 (PLAYBILL)

The Flea Theater, under artistic director Jim Simpson and producing director Carol Ostrow, announced the lineup for its 2012-13 Off Off-Broadway season. Tony Award nominee Alan Rickman will star in the company's premiere of Krapp Hour.

Krapp Hour, an adaptation of Beckett's Krapp's Last Tape by Canadian poet Anne Carson, will premiere in late August. Rickman (Seminar) will star as Krapp in the production, which is a part of the Virtual Theater Collaborative, the NEA funding initiative — a partnering of video game technology and professional theatre productions to create a new medium for the performing arts. Rickman's live performance at the Flea will be adapted for use in a video game.

NEW YORK, July 2 (UPI) -- British actors Dan Clarkson and Jeff Turner, the stars of "Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience -- A Parody by Dan and Jeff," say they are thrilled by how warmly their Harry Potter stage comedy has been embraced by critics and audiences in New York. "It's been unbelievable," Clarkson told United Press International in a recent phone interview.

"When we were in the United Kingdom, when we first went to the West End, there was the fear, 'Will everyone get this?' And then when we went to Toronto, I remember that fear came back and then when we came to New York, there was the fear that they were just going to look at us and say, 'Who are these two British guys on stage and what are they doing?' So, it's been overwhelming," Clarkson explained.

"The audiences, the way people react in New York is brilliant. Just the urge to shout out and if they want to say something, to just go for it, and the applause and the cheering. In Britain, we're very polite and very reserved, so this is amazing." Preview performances of "Potted Potter" began in May at Manhattan's Little Shubert Theater and it officially opened June 3. This is the production's U.S. premiere after successful runs in Toronto, London, Edinburgh, Australia and New Zealand.
