Daniel Craig returns to London to film Skyfall as Olympic skit is revealed By Emily Hewett - 1st April, 2012 (METRO)



Daniel Craig and his James Bond co-star Dame Judi Dench returned to London to film scenes for upcoming 007 film Skyfall as it was announced the actor will be kick-starting the Olympic Games' Opening Ceremony.

The pair were pictured in Whitehall today alongside Sam Mendes as they filmed a scene which saw Craig chauffeur Dench in a flash black car. Meanwhile, it has been revealed that The Queen has asked Craig to open the Olympic Games' Opening Cermony as 007.

In a film entitled The Arrival, Bond will arrive at Bunckingham Palace by Royal Appointment to be told his latest mission is to launch the Games, The Sun On Sunday has reported.He will then be taken by helicopter to the Olympic stadium in Stratford, East London where he will parachute into the arena. It has also been speculated that her Majesty may even make a cameo appearance in the skit, which will be fed into the opening ceremony.

Daniel, 44, and a film crew headed by the ceremony's creative director Danny Boyle have been given unprecedented access to The Queen's private rooms.
