THE childhood home of Oscar-winning actor Colin Firth is for sale.

The home, a three storey four bedroom property in suburban Hampshire is on the market for £595,000 through Paul Hellard and Company estate agents.


"Situated in a well established tree-lined road within a short walk of the town centre, schools and amenities, this exquisite family home in which the actor Colin Firth grew up now incorporates a great many features including a long rear garden," said the property details.

Firth now splits his time between homes in Chiswick in West London and Rome, from where his wife Livia Giuggioli hails.
