'Avengers' Tom Hiddleston: 'I take my hat off to Joss Whedon' Published Monday, Sep 17 2012, 10:50am EDT | (digital spy)



Tom Hiddleston has praised The Avengers director Joss Whedon for effortlessly weaving the Marvel cinematic universe's continuity together.

The actor - who played Loki in The Avengers - admitted that he could never keep track of all the events in Marvel films like Whedon did.




"I have to take my hat off to Joss Whedon here, there's so much details. There's just so much in there. And Joss is such an extraordinary stickler, rightly, for details, you know," Hiddleston said, reports Flicks and Bits.

Hiddleston continued: "You can't just create action for actions sake, it's like, 'Why? Why this explosion, why this fight? Why are we doing it here?' There's so much depth in this film that I think if you watch it again and again and again, you will see various things about.
