David Tennant and Matt Smith seen on set together as they shoot 50th Anniversary special of Doctor Who By SARAH FITZMAURICE (DAILY MAIL)



To mark the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who it seems the producers have drafted in some familiar faces and former time lord David Tennant was seen on set on Wednesday alongside Matt Smith, who plays the current doctor.

David and Matt were both dressed in the same grey coat with a fur hood with smart suits underneath.
Matt was sporting a bow-tie while David had a normal long tie on as they shot scenes in Wales.
The pair were shooting scenes for the 3D Anniversary episode, which sees a number of old stars return to the show.
