“Thor 2” star Tom Hiddleston is the object of much attention from fans, but is he single?
Despite rumors earlier this year that Hiddleston, 32, is dating Jessica Chastain, the actor seems to be single and getting most of his romantic attention from fans – and he doesn’t like it that way.
Hiddleston was named “Sexiest Movie Star Alive” in a poll earlier this year, according to Contact Music and seemed troubled by the title.
'With sexiest, it's a subjective thing. It's alarming when attention comes your way,” he said.
Hiddleston said that fans voted for him because of his role as Loki in “Thor,” “Avengers Assemble” and the upcoming “Thor 2: The Dark World.”
''It might be when I die my hair black, and wear white make-up, leather and metal, there's a particular vibe going on there,” he said.
Earlier this year, Hiddleston was rumored to be dating “Zero Dark Thirty” star Jessica Chastain, 36, according to the Daily Mail.
“Tom is taken with Jess and it’s serious,” a friend said.
“Before Christmas she visited Britain to stay with him and meet all his family for the first time.”
Since the rumors flew in January, however, little has been heard about the relationship – so the two are likely not together after all.
