He might not have walked away with the Best Actor gong at Sunday night's Academy Awards, but Benedict Cumberbatch no doubt still feels like a winner.

The newlywed, 38, who tied the knot with his pregnant wife Sophie Hunter, 36, on Valentine's day, appears to be madly in love with his bride, stopping to indulge in a passionate and rare PDA recently.

The couple were driving along California's iconic Pacific Coast Highway three days after their big day, when they stopped to admire the views of the ocean.
