Sherlock star Martin Freeman has dropped the ‘L bomb’ about co-star Benedict Cumberbatch.

Yes, it's love...

Indeed, at a Q&A with students at University College Dublin, Freeman said:

“Benedict and I do have this chemistry on set, you know, that doesn’t even particularly have anything to do with good acting – even though, obviously, he’s a brilliant actor – but there’s something more personal about it, you know, it’s like love,” as shared on DavidWowie's Tumblr.

Time for a rousing round of Cumberbatch and Freeman sitting in a tree? No, perhaps not.

Clearly aware of the furor this would cause, Freeman added: “Oh God, why did I phrase it that way?”

Rosamund Pike was an ugly duckling

Rosamund Pike believes she was ''never an attractive teenager'' and is confident she gets offered a variation of roles because she's not pigeonholed as good looking.

Speaking to Total Film magazine, she said: ''I was never an attractive teenager or child. Then suddenly somebody found me attractive and it was a turning point.''

The blonde beauty previously said she gets ''really annoyed'' when people think she just gets hired for her looks and wants to be accepted as a ''good actress'' instead.

She said previously: ''I think being accepted as a good actress is all I ever wanted. That's the only stigma that comes with a Bond film - that people are quick to assume you were hired just for your looks.

''That kind of thing really annoys me because actually [director] Lee Tamahori hired me for something else.''

THE VERDICT

In Shaun of the Dead they tackled zombies, in Hot Fuzz they took on small-town police and mobsters but for their latest dose of ­laddish camaraderie Pegg, Frost and director Edgar Wright take on their biggest challenge – a pub crawl with the end of the world at stake. It is a film that has everything – ­excessive beer quaffing, hand-to-hand combat, romance, male bonding and the prospect that the end of their pub crawl might see these old, but rather mismatched, mates ­involved in a fight – not just for their future, but for the whole of mankind.

Pegg quite bravely leaves behind his warm-and-matey persona to play the rather ­obnoxious Gary King, a failure whose only real aspiration in life seems to be to gather his old pals for a drinking tour in the home town they haven’t visited for years. Against all the odds they agree to his suggestion, despite his one-time best friend Andy (Frost) falling out with him years before and Steven (Considine) still harbouring a grudge because Andy took the girl he was in love with. ­Oliver (Freeman) and Peter (Marsan) are not ­convinced by Andy’s plan but are willing to give it a go.

The pub crawl sees the false camaraderie hilariously demolished, especially when Oliver’s sister Sam (Pike), the woman Steven and Gary both lusted after, arrives on the scene.

It seems locals they thought ­unwelcoming have good reason to be.

It turns out they are actually aliens who have taken over the forms of townspeople, and they are not too happy with the boozy band.

When things get serious, sleeves are rolled up and pub fights ensue (with Frost an almost lithe martial arts machine) as they try to make it to The World’s End, and the climax of their majestic quest.

The actress - who is currently starring in comedy The World's End - sizzled as she posed up a storm in a racy black underwear set, showing off her enviable curves and flawless skin.

Laying on a bed in a pair of high waisted knickers and a matching bra, the 34-year-old looks as though she is certainly bound to gain a few more male fans as she plays with her hair flirtatiously.

Rosamund, who is set to play Sam in the forthcoming blockbuster, opened up about that it was like to act alongside funny men Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in the accompanying interview too.

Rosamund Pike and Nick Nolte will Return to Sender (XPOSE)

Rosamund Pike will portray a woman who has to piece her life back together after a terrible event in upcoming release Return to Sender.

Rosamund Pike and Nick Nolte will appear in Return to Sender.

The psychological thriller is being shot in New Orleans at the moment, with Fouad Mikati taking directing duties.

Rosamund will portray a nurse working in a small town who goes on a blind date with a character played by Shiloh Fernandez, according to The Hollywood Reporter. A cataclysmic event takes place during their time together, with Rosamund's alter ego later realising her love interest has been hiding a grave secret.

The movie follows her as she attempts to piece her life back together, with Nick taking on the role of her character's father.

The script has been penned by Patricia Beauchamp and Joe Gossett, while Holly Wiersma and Candice Abela are on producing duties.

At the moment further details about the film, such as its release date, are unknown.

Martin Freeman: Edgar Wright’s ‘The World’s End’ Moved Up To July 19th In The UK – Starring Rosamund Pike, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost & Martin Freeman (FLICKS AND BITS)

Great news UK folks, Edgar Wright has just Tweeted that ‘The World’s End’ is hitting UK cinemas on July 19th, a month earlier than its previously announced August 14th bow.  The film is the third instalment of Wright’s trilogy of comedies, following the thoroughly awesome ‘Shaun of the Dead’ (2004) and ‘Hot Fuzz’ (2007). Wright co-wrote the script for ‘The World’s End’ with Simon Pegg, who will once again star alongside Nick Frost. Joining Pegg and Frost are the likes of Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan, and Rosamund Pike. The film is set for a August 23rd release in the US. Expect to see the trailer soon!

In ‘The World’s End,’ 20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub – The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realise the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.
