Brits Seen – Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Kate Beckinsale, Robert Pattinson, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson & More!

Our Inbox is full so time to catch up with all the latest images, clips and whatever else we could find featuring some of your favorite British stars. This week you can catch up on Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Kate Beckinsale, Emma Watson, Jeremy Irvine, Ray Winstone, Robert Pattinson and we even have a deleted scene from the final Harry Potter movie.

Take a look at all the images and clips below.

The big budget final installment of Chris Nolan’s Batman series The Dark Knight Rises is starting to pick up some buzz in anticipation of its summer 2012 release. That means pictures of Christian Bale as Batman and Tom Hardy as the villain, Bane are starting to appear. Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway), better known to comics fans as Catwoman, will also star and you can see this one July 20, 2012. (Source: Empire)

Underworld: Awakening welcomes British actress Kate Beckinsale back into her guns and leather role. Returning to the Underworld series as the vampire warrioress Selene, she escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species. This one is out in January 2012. (Source: Coming Soon)

Just a couple of weeks ago we bought you the first look at Helena Bonham Carter in Mike Newell’s adaption of Great Expectations, one of two adaptations coming out over the next year. This big screen version of the classic Charles Dickens novel stars (the soon to be a household name) Jeremy Irvine, as Pip and we have a first look at him in character below. (Source: Empire)

Another picture has seen the light of day featuring Emma Watson in The Perks of being a Wallflower. She will play Sam in the film based on the book of the same name and directed by the author, Stephen Chbosky. Telling the tale of a shy college freshman named Charlie (Logan Lerman, The Three Musketeers) who learns everything from drug use to suicide after being taken under the wings by two of his friends. Watson’s first big starring role post Potter will be out sometime in 2012. (Source: The Playlist)

mentioned above that Jeremy Irvine is about to become a household name and this is why. He is the human lead (lets not forget about the horse!) in Steven Spielberg’s latest film, War Horse. Based on an award winning UK play and packed full of Brits, Emily Watson, Peter Mullan, David Thewlis, Benedict Cumberbatch, (to name but a few), it tells the story of Albert and his horse Joey. It follows the two as their bond is broken when Joey is sold to the cavalry and sent to the trenches of World War One. This one is released just in time for award season on Christmas day and we have new images and trailers below. (Source: The Daily Blam)

Harry Potter has not gone away quite yet, although make sure you buy your DVDs before Warner Brothers take them off the shelves on December 30. With the final DVD of the franchise not yet released in the UK we have found a deleted scene that I thought you may like to see. It features Harry, Ron and Hermione as they plan to break into Bellatrix Lestrange’s vault in Gringotts, the Wizard’s bank, hunting for the horcrux hidden inside. Robert Pattinson does not seem to have any Twilight typecast isssues, Water for Elephants came out earlier this year and he has just wrapped filming David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis, a film based on a novel by Don DeLillo. It tells the story of a newlywed billionaire (Pattinson) who ends up losing his bride and his billions in a single day. Some very cool new images of Pattinson in action have been released and you can see this one sometime next year. (Source: Hey U Guys)

One of the British movies I am most looking forward to next year is the remake of the 70′s British TV show, The Sweeney. Starring Ray Winstone and British rapper Plan B as flying squad members Jack Regan and George Carter. Some on-set pictures have appeared from director Nick Love’s latest Brit flick and we hope that this makes its stateside next year. (Hey U Guys)
