Tom Hiddleston In CORIOLANUS Promo Shoot Outtakes (BROADWAY WORLD) by Pat Cerasaro

Increasingly recognizable rising stage and screen superstar Tom Hiddleston turns his sights from the tent-pole franchise feature film world of THE AVENGERS and THOR to take on Shakespeare yet again at the Donmar Warehouse in London's West End later this year and outtakes from the promotional campaign for his forthcoming production of CORIOLANUS have now been revealed, featuring the popular thespian already appearing quite in command of his tricky character.

Brooding, bare-chested and effortlessly, empirically regal in posing for promotional shots portraying the title character in Shakespeare's bloody, war-torn tragedy CORIOLANUS, the images culled from the poster shoot find Hiddleston slipping convincingly into character before our very eyes - posing, crying, glaring, peering and performing compellingly all the while.

Hiddleston will take on the title role in CORIOLANUS running December 6 through February 8 at the intimate and well-regarded theatrical venue in a production directed by Josie Rourke.

Of note, tickets went on sale yesterday and sold out nearly instantly according to many reports
