'Game Of Thrones’ Casts ‘Sherlock’s’ Mycroft Holmes For Season Four (UPROXX) WRITTEN BY DUSTIN ROWLES

Game of Thrones loves its British actors, and it’s reaching over into Steven Moffat’s territory once again to grab Mark Gatiss, who many of you may know as Mycroft, the brother of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock Homes in Sherlock. (Oona Chaplin (Talisa Maegyr) was also a veteran of Sherlock, having had a role in “The Scandal of Belgravia” before jumping over to the BBC’s The Hours). Gatis, actually, is also the co-creator of Sherlock, along with Steven Moffat. Besides Mycroft Holmes, Mark Gatis is also from the Doctor Who world, where he’s written six episodes, but is probably most famous for playing Lazaurs in 2007′s “The Lazarus Experiment”:
