Three's a crowd: Keira and husband James met up with Keira's mum for the trip, Sharman MacDonald

Sometimes in-laws can be a tricky thing to negotiate being a newlywed.

This didn't seem to be the case for Klaxons keyboardist James Righton, as he held new wife Keria Knightley's hand on a shopping trip accompanied by her mother, Sharman Macdonald.

The three seemed happy in each others company during a trip to the shops in north London on Tuesday.

Keira previously opened up to Harpers Bazaar about how liberating she has found marriage.
She said: ‘These words that you think beforehand, “That’s the reason I’ll never do it”… those words that you see as completely negative, and you suddenly see them as being incredibly positive, and that’s actually quite liberating and quite nice.’

Meanwhile, Keira is appearing alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in wartime drama The Imitation Game later this year. She is also stars in the film Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit alongside Chris Pine, Kenneth Branagh and Kevin Costner.

Keira plays Ryan’s love interest Cathy in the fifth film in the Jack Ryan franchise, in which Jack (Chris Pine) finds evidence of an imminent terrorist attack and economic catastrophe.
