Prince William and Kate Middleton Attacked and Silenced by Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles

Prince William and Kate Middleton Attacked and Silenced by Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles

I’ve always said that the royal family is just as dysfunctional as the Kardashian’s, they just have better taste and manners. Make no mistake, there is a whole lot of drama going on behind closed doors as Queen Elizabeth’s health fails. It is Prince Charles’ birthright to be crowned the next King and Camilla Parker-Bowles thinks she is owed her crown because she suffered as Charles’ side chick for 3 decades before being made an honest (if strongly disliked) woman.

Everyone, including Queen Elizabeth prefers Prince William and Kate Middleton as the next rulers as they are both well-respected and in touch with the real needs of the British people. William is prepared to be a good example and take on the cares of his people while Charles has a history of writing rambling letters about his pet peeves and focusing on flowers or obscure environmental problems – he is considered out of touch and arrogant.

This week Charles stepped up to take over more of Elizabeth’s duties and in his lust for power he opted to make serious changes to the Queen’s press office. Sally Osman who heads Prince Charles’ communications team is now in charge of both Queen Elizabeth’s and Charles’ media affairs. So the voice of The Crown is now under Prince Charles’ control. But even worse, Charles has now moved his people in to silence Kate and Will! It was announced this week that the Kensington Palace Press Office (Kate and William’s media voice) will cease operations shortly. Supposedly he wants everything funneled through one office for the sake of royal continuity.  That kind of makes sense, right?  WRONG!

There is a whole lot more going on here than meets the eye! Kensington Palace has handled everything connected to Prince William, Kate, Prince George and Prince Harry and the office has done a fantastic job of promoting the younger royals. It has added to their popularity with the commoners and has proven that it can handle huge announcements, such as the birth of Prince George with great ease. In shutting down this office Charles will now control what is said to the press regarding William and Kate! Rest assured good old Cami is sick to death of hearing about how stunning or fun Kate is and so those blips will be a thing of the past. It’s a clear cut power struggle. Until now William and Kate have been able to control to a great degree how they are represented in the press and that has worked to their advantage.

Royal Family Says Duchess of Cambridge in Labor

NEW YORK TIMES
By ALAN COWELL
Published: July 22, 2013

LONDON — After months of ever more frenetic anticipation and speculation in Britain and around the world, the Duchess of Cambridge, the former Kate Middleton, entered St. Mary’s Hospital in the Paddington district of London on Monday to prepare for the birth of her first child and was “in the early stages of labor,” the royal family announced

A brief message on Twitter was the first of a series of carefully scripted disclosures set to culminate in the announcement of an event that seems certain to draw unparalleled media coverage, even in the annals of Britain’s headline-making royal family. Because of recent changes in the law of succssion, the baby will be third in line to the throne whether it is a boy or a girl and will remain so whatever the gender of subsequent children.

“Her royal highness the Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London, in the early stages of labour,” said a message from Clarence House, the official residence of the duchess and her husband, Prince William, the duke of Cambridge.

Even James Bond isn't immune to the soul stirring effects of Adele's voice.

Daniel Craig told Yahoo Movies he was moved to tears first time he heard Adele's "Skyfall," a song he felt "perfectly" matched the feel of the movie.

"I cried," said Craig. "From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I'd wanted front the beginning."

"It just got better and better because it fitted the movie. In fact the more of the movie we made, the more it fitted it."

The Bond actor isn't alone in his sentiments, though, with "Skyfall" shooting to No. 1 on the iTunes charts just ten hours after its release.

"Skyfall" was recorded at London's Abbey Road Studios and features a 77-piece orchestra.

Kate Middleton won't get lost in the royal shuffle thanks to Prince Phillip KATE MIDDLETONOCTOBER 20, 2012BY: ROZ ZURKO (EXAMINER)

Kate Middleton has not only captured the heart of her nation, she’s also made an impression on Prince Phillip, the grandfather of Prince William. Prince Phillip rarely intervenes in the workings of the monarchy, but that has changed, according to a report from Celeb Dirty Laundry on Saturday October 20, 2012. Kate's new grandfather-in-law is watching out for her these days and making sure she doesn't get lost in the royal shuffle!

When the Queen decided to pass the monarchy onto Prince Charles and Camilla when she retires, this didn’t go over very well with Phillip. The elder royal thinks it should be William and Kate that step into the highest roles of the royal family. Rumor has it that the Queen didn’t want to bypass Charles because she feared if she did Camilla would “destroy the monarchy with scandal and outrage if she was passed over.” This sounds like a royal case of the squeaky wheel getting the oil.”

Phillip is allegedly putting his foot down when it comes to Camilla, who’s been hard at work trying to convince the Queen that the job of running the monarchy should go to Charles, with Camilla by his side. She’s also done her best to remind Kate around every turn that she’s nothing more than a commoner.

Rumor has it that Camilla make's Kate's life a bit harder than it needs to be by shooting snide remarks her way every chance she gets. Apparently there's a bit of jealousy about the loving embrace that Kate has gotten from the world when Camilla was barely tolerated when she married Charles.

The Sherlock star is an ambassador for The Prince's Trust and he headed to the London branch of waxwork museum Madame Tussauds last week (ends17Jun12) to front the organisation's event.

A big movie is being planned on the life of Lady Diana (Daily Mail)

Princess Diana is set to be played by a leading Hollywood actress in a £30million movie based on the years before her divorce from Prince Charles.

Oscar-winning South African actress Charlize Theron, 36, and Carey Mulligan, the 26-year-old English star of An Education, are both being tipped for the lead role.

British film producer Stephen Evans, who has scored success with The Iron Lady about former Prime Minister Baroness Thatcher, is basing the film on Diana's bodyguard's memoirs.

Evans said he wanted to show the world the truth behind what happened to Diana, who would have turned 51 this year, before her 1996 split from her husband.

It will be told partially from the point of view of Ken Wharfe, who could be played by Ewan McGregor, 40.

Wharfe was trusted to look after her sons Princes William and Harry, who called him 'Uncle Ken', and released a controversial book called 'Diana: Closely Guarded Secret' in 2007.

The acclaimed producer, who has been working with the late princess’s private secretary Commander Patrick Jephson on the film, would not reveal who is favourite to play the lead roles.

He said: 'It’s a slightly closed book until we get her. We are ¬looking at one or two relatively unknowns we think could play Diana well, and also one or two very famous people.

'How do you know when you’ve found the right person? When you’ve made the movie. You see, that’s the risk.'

His film could be the third Diana biopic to come out in the next two years.

Keira Knightley, 26, and Scarlett Johansson, 27, are rumoured to star in a Pathé film called Diana, while rising American actress Jessica Chastain, 30, is set to star in Caught in Flight.

That film will focus on Diana’s relationship with heart surgeon Hasnat Khan.

Evans told the Sunday Mirror that the film, due for release in 2013, deals with the 11 years of her life 'just after' she gave birth to Harry.

Colin Firth: Chiswick star who played King meets real-life royalty (Chiswick W4)

He was called ‘ Your Majesty’ when he played the role of monarch in ‘ The King’s Speech’ but this week Colin Firth met the real heir to the throne at Buckingham Palace when he went to collect his CBE for services to drama.

The Chiswick-based actor was presented with his honour by Prince Charles, whose grandfather he played in the Oscar-winning film. The role of King George VI has been his most successful to date, bringing the 51-year old actor a string of awards, including the coveted Oscar.

He was accompanied to the ceremony by his Italian wife Livia, who tweeted that she was curious and excited to attend the “quintessentially British event”.

The father-of-three has already been recognised for his work on behalf of his wife's native Italy. Firth, who married producer Livia Giuggioli in 1997, was made a Commander of the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity in 2005.

Livia, who has become famous for her campaign to bring sustainable fashion to glamorous events, known as the Green Carpet Challenge, wore a black organic wool dress, and a 1989 Prada pattered coat loaned by a friend who had previously worn it to a La Scala premiere.

She joked on her blog that she had almost forgotten to wear a hat to the ceremony but was saved by Allesard Greco, who works with Irish-born milliner Philip Treacy, who had a royal blue wide-brimmed hat delivered to her house in Chiswick the day beforehand.

More than fifteen years after his role as Mr. D’Arcy brought him to fame in the television drama of the Jane Austen book ‘ Pride and Prejudice’,(1995) Colin Firth is about to revisit his role as Mark Darcy , in the third Bridget Jones movie.

Filming is expected to begin shortly ,with reports suggesting the movie will be titled ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’, following the story of the ditzy PR girl as she becomes a mother. Full Monty director Peter Cattaneo has signed up to direct the film which will reunite the original cast, including Hugh Grant and Rene Zwelleger. It is expected to hit British cinema screens in 2013.
