In the new thriller Colin stars as a veteran MI6 agent who attempts to save his street smart nephew played by Taron Egerton, from falling into bad crowd by taking him under his wing.
Taron who joined Collin on set on Sunday, did not look as dapper as he wore a pair of jeans and a quilted jacket with a cap to finish his urban look.
Adapted from Kick Ass creator Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons' comic, other big names set to star in the film include Sir Michael Caine who will be playing the head of the British spy agency.
Adding some baddie action to the espionage thriller is Samuel L Jackson who will be playing the main villain.

David Beckham Offered Movie Role by Colin Firth
Colin Firth asks David Beckham to take a cameo role in new movie 'The Secret Service' as a villain.
FEMALE FIRST
3 AUGUST, 2013
David Beckham has been approached to play a bad guy in a new movie.
The retired soccer star - who announced he was quitting the sport earlier this year - has been asked by Colin Firth to star in 'The Secret Service' and director Matthew Vaughn is so confident he will agree to appear, he has already had a villainous part written for him.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Becks was asked by Colin Firth if he'd like to be in the movie but he is yet to fully commit. He loves movies and fancies appearing on the big screen -- but just as a one-off, not a full-time career.
The film - which is based on a spy graphic novel by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons - stars Colin and Sir Michael Caine as superagents fighting a team of villains headed by Samuel L. Jackson and will also feature cameo appearances from stars including Sir Elton John.

Becks cuddles ‘The Queen’: David Beckham poses with Helen Mirren (THE SUN) By FRAN WETZEL Published: 2 hrs ago

IT seems even Helen Mirren can’t resist the charm of David Beckham – cuddling up to the footie legend at a birthday party for the Queen.
The actress, 68, got close to the former England ace as they posed for photos at the bash held in honour of Her Majesty in Shanghai, China.
The pair had previously met an awards ceremony in 2007. And it seemed they are old pals, chatting away happily at a reception afterwards.

Hugh Grant gets an apology from Murdoch Duchess of York and Christopher Eccleston also settle hacking cases in High Court JAMES CUSICK (INDEPENDENT)
The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, actors Hugh Grant and Christopher Eccleston, and the Catholic parish priest of singer Charlotte Church, Father Richard Reardon, were among 17 phone-hacking victims offered public apologies in the High Court today by News International.
The “sincere” contrition and undisclosed “substantial” damages for a total of 144 cases, means that 26 victims of the News of the World’s illegal phone-hacking activities, have yet to settle with Rupert Murdoch’s UK newspaper division in the latest wave of claims.
Among the claimants who opted for a court-room apology were singer James Blunt, Uri Geller, Geoffrey Robinson, the former Labour minister, and Colin Stagg, the man wrongly accused of the murder of Rachel Nickell. Mr Stagg, one of the few to have his damages disclosed, was awarded £15,500.
Those who settled, but opted to keep the terms of the arrangement private, included Cherie Blair QC, the wife of the former prime minister, Ukip leader Nigel Farage, TV presenters Jamie Theakston and Chris Tarrant, Ted Beckham, the father of the former England football captain, former Tory minister Lord Blencathra, actor James Nesbitt, footballer Wayne Rooney, and BBC reporter Tom Mangold.

Raven star Luke Evans says rise to fame is like 'winning the lottery' By Robin Turner, Wales Online May 18 2012
The former Bedwellty Comprehensive School pupil, who grew up in Aberbargoed in the Rhymney Valley, admitted his friends from home are still “in shock” about his string of top roles.
The 33-year-old was speaking in the Philippines where he is promoting his latest film The Raven, a stylish, gothic thriller centred on the life of US horror writer Edgar Allan Poe.
The 33-year-old actor has become a familiar face on the big screen in films including The Three Musketeers, Immortals, Clash of the Titans and Tamara Drewe.
And he is due to star in the forthcoming two-part fantasy film and prequel to Lord of The Rings The Hobbit as Bard the Bowman.
The Welshman has also followed in the footsteps of fashion icons George Clooney, David Beckham and Bruce Willis by signing up as ambassador for Italian lifestyle brand Police, fronting all campaigns for the brand, including watches and jewellery, throughout 2012.
Asked about his success, Evans said: “It was never really part of my plan to be in films, it was really sort of a dream.
“When it happened and the ball dropped and started rolling very fast, it took a few jobs before I took a breather and sort of put everything into perspective.
“It has been an incredible last few years of my life.
“My friends back at home are still in shock as to where I am and what I’m doing and that it actually is happening to me and not somebody else.

After watching a cat-suited Victoria in the group's Say You'll Be There video, David spilled, "I saw Victoria and I told myself, ‘I'm going to marry that girl.'" Adding, "I think it was both love and lust. Well, it was probably lust." And Victoria reveals of their first meeting, "It was after a soccer match, and all of the players were in the players' lounge. Luke Evans - Now the face of Police Eyewear (and a wonderful guy too!)(London Evening Standard)
25 January 2012 1:18 PM
‘Shy’ Evans is a model son
Welsh actor Luke Evans was joined by his mother as he celebrated becoming the face of Police Eyewear last night. Following David Beckham and George Clooney as ambassadors of the brand has not gone to his head, though he said he was once “too nervous” to greet Beckham on a plane in L.A. Other guests at the Eyewear party included Made In Chelsea’s Rosie Fortescue. Evans will soon resume filming The Hobbit alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in New Zealand. “There’s a lot of camaraderie. I call them the dwarves.”

The Spice Girls will appear in a West End musical written by Jennifer Saunders (New Now Next)
NEXT: Spice Girls Reuniting?

Make. It. Happen.
Forget the engagements and pregnancies and even the sad, sad separations, this is the biggest news of 2012 so far — the Spice Girls may be reuniting. Break out the platform shoes and Union Jack tops folks.
The ladies of Spice are all currently speaking and working together on the West End musical based on their songs, being written by the hysterical Jennifer Saunders, and rumors have begun flying around that they may reunite for a performance at the London Olympics. Enough to cause a zig-a-zig-ah of excitement we’d say.
None of the five have ever ruled out a reunion and Victoria, who we all KNOW would probably be the least interested, will no doubt be there with hubby David for the opening ceremony so let’s make this happen. Because it’s probably either this or Wham! guys.

Churchill named the greatest English gentleman of last century (Colin Firth is #5)
New Delhi, Sat, 10 Dec 2011NI Wire
Churchill named the greatest English gentleman of last century
Sir Winston Churchill has been named the greatest British gentleman of the last century in a recent poll conducted in England. The British conservative politician (and two-time prime minister) has been widely regarded as one of the most influential people in the history.
With his statesmanship, Churchill, who was also a historian and a writer, inspired the whole Kingdom to stand in defiance of Hitler during World War II. The new poll – held by Austin Reed to uncover the greatest gentlemen in modern memory – counted votes of as many as 4,000 people.
He is also the only British Prime Minister to have received the Noble Prize in Literature. "Sir Winston Churchill showed unprecedented courage and strength to lead this country and is a worthy choice as the greatest British gentleman," the Daily Mail quoted a spokesman for Austin Reed as saying.
The second name in this list of top Britons came with the best-known natural history filmmaker Sir David Attenborough. With several popular BBC series, including programs like Life on Earth (1979), The Living Planet (1984), The Trials of Life (1990), The Private Life of Plants (1995), The Life of Birds (1998), The Life of Mammals (2002), Life in the Undergrowth (2005) and the Life in Cold Blood (2008), he brought the hidden secrets of the world to living rooms across the country.
British actor, comedian and TV presenter Stephen Fry came in the third place in the poll. His sheer intelligent and amusing contributions to TV screens and Twitter feeds have certainly made him a national treasure.
Among others in the Greatest British Gentleman poll, Prince William took the fourth place followed by the Oscar winning actor Colin Firth (for the movie The King’s Speech) while actor David Niven took the sixth spot. Former Bond star Roger Moore and actor Michael Caine came in the seventh and eighth place respectively. Here is the top 10:
