Comic-Con: 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Cast Sends Hall H Into Frenzy

Fox touted "The Wolverine" and "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" before Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Peter Dinklage and more stormed the stage.

Fox brought out the entire cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past for Comic-Con, sending Hall H into pandemonium.

Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin, Halle Berry, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, and several others were introduced to a roaring crowd that was screaming after every other sentence from the actors.

“I was in the halls this morning,” said McAvoy. “It’s amazing the passion you guys have so it’s awesome to be among you.

Every actor was given a moment to say a few words to the enthralled audience. McKellan scored major points from the crowd for getting a little political.

“I feel safe here now that you’ve gotten rid of Proposition 8," he said. Then, turning to Fassbender, he added, “Looking for a husband. It’s nice to meet you Michael."

After the panel, Singer tweeted a thank you to fans along with a photo of the cast.

While nothing has been confirmed, the ‘Game of Thrones’ Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning actor has been rumored to be playing the villainous Bolivar Trask in the film. ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past,’ the seventh installment in the ‘X-Men’ film series, started filming last month in Montreal, Canada. It will be the first film in the ‘X-Men’ film series to be filmed in 3D.

With director Bryan Singer merging past and present ‘X-Men’ actors for ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past,’ the director has announced that Anna Paquin (Rogue), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde), Halle Berry (Storm), Daniel Cudmore (Colossus) and Shawn Ashmore (Iceman) will be joining the film – which is ostensibly a sequel to ‘X-Men: First Class,’ but will prominently feature actors from the first ‘X-Men’ trilogy. Additionally, Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine again, and Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart are to reprise their roles as Magneto and Professor X, with Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy returning to play younger versions of the same characters in the film. Seeds of a tie-in between the trilogies were sown when Jackman cameoed as Wolverine in ‘X-Men: First Class.’ Jennifer Lawrence, Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing, Booboo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters and Nicholas Hoult have also been confirmed to star.

They've become the perfect little family since welcoming their adorable baby twins into the world last August.
And Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer's bundles of joy would have no doubt been the guests of honour as they attended a friend's party at Paramount Park in Malibu, California, on Saturday afternoon.

Proving that at the tender age of nine months they are already social butterflies, the super-cute tots looked happy and content as they accompanied their actor parents to the bash.

Anna and Stephen were joined by a nanny, who assisted with the duties and seemed to be very much one of the family.



Stephen has two children Lilac, ten, and Billy, 12 from a previous relationship.

And before his twins were born, he discussed how excited he was at the prospect of becoming a father once again.

In a long line of news, behind-the-scenes images and teasers, director Bryan Singer has tweeted the above first image of James McAvoy on the set of ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ as Charles Xavier/Professor X in his 1970s costume. Singer captioned the image with “#Serpico”, referencing the 1973 Sidney Lumet thriller which starred Al Pacino as NYPD officer Frank Serpico. ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past,’ the seventh installment in the ‘X-Men’ film series, commenced filming last month in Montreal, Canada. Stephen Moyer has bagged a leading role in upcoming drama Devil's Knot.

 The 42-year-old actor - whose wife and True Blood co-star Anna Paquin is currently expecting twins - joins Oscar-winners Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth in the film, Deadline reports.

 Essex-born Stephen, who plays vampire Bill Compton in the hit US TV show, will play prosecutor John Fogelman in the movie about the West Memphis 3 murder controversy.

 The film is based on Mara Leveritt's 2003 book and tells the story of teens Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley, who were tried in 1993 for the killing of three eight-year-old boys.

They were sent to prison despite a lack of evidence and after years of appeals were finally released last year with ten-year suspended sentences.

 Colin is starring as a private investigator who became the trio's first champion when they were headed to trial, and offered them his services for free.

Meryl Streep ties with Anna Paquin for best actress in London Film Critics awards (Sky News)

Silent film The Artist has scooped the three big prizes at the London Film Critics' Circle awards.

The black-and-white picture won Film of the Year, Director of the Year and Actor of the Year at the ceremony, following on from its success at the Golden Globes.

It is also leading the Bafta awards, with 12 nominations.

The film's lead actor Jean Dujardin told Sky News on the red carpet that its success was partly down to the romantic story and his dog co-star Uggie.

"It's not just a silent movie, or black and white movie, it's a love story, a simple story and there's a cute dog and the audience love the cute dog," he said.

The Iron Lady also saw Olivia Colman taking The Moet & Chandon Award: British Actress of the Year for her portrayal of Carol Thatcher in the biopic.

Michael Fassbender won the British Actor of the Year for his performances in Shame and his role as Carl Jung in A Dangerous Method.

Kenneth Branagh was named Supporting Actor of the Year for his turn as Laurence Olivier in My Week With Marilyn.
