Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin claimed that he had no idea who Michael Fassbender was according to the latest tranche of embarrassing emails leaked as part of the Sony cyber-hacking scandal.

The emails reveal, however, that others at Sony were aware of the actor - or at least the size of his manhood - with producer Michael De Luca allegedly claiming in one email that the star, 'makes you feel bad to have normal sized male genitalia.'

The actor gained notoriety after playing Brandon Sullivan in 2011’s sexual exploration movie Shame and appearing in a full-frontal nude scene that revealed an impressive appendage.

The latest leaks concern Sony’s failed attempts to make a movie about the life of Apple co-funder Steve Jobs, which Sorkin was adapting from Walter Isaacson’s biography.

The emails reveal Sorkin’s attempt to lobby for Tom Cruise to take the lead role and reveal his initial disdain when informed that Fassbender, Oscar-nominated for 12 Years A Slave, was favored for the role.

‘I don't know who Michael Fassbender is and the rest of the world isn't going to care,’ was his sniffy reply to Columbia Pictures Chairman Amy Pascal and movie producer Scott Rudin.

It was Rudin who called Angelina Jolie a 'minimally talented spoiled brat' in another email, while the latest leak of documents by the group calling themselves ‘the Guardians of Peace,’ are from Pascal’s email box.

Her exchanges with Rudin and Sorkin reveal that an extensive list of Hollywood big hitters had been considered for the Jobs role.

However Sorkin eventually came round to the idea of Fassbender and wrote, 'F*** it. He's a great actor whose time has come.'

'That’s where I ended up,' Pascal replied.

'Yeah, if the movie’s good, he’ll be on the cover of everything and get nominated for everything,' Sorkin conceded.

Sony producer Michael De Luca chimed in with one email adding that the star, 'makes you feel bad to have normal sized male genitalia'.

When it comes to finding the right woman, Gerard Butler, best known for his role in 300, must be the pickiest man in the entire world, or at least in Scotland. During a recent romance update, the actor, who dumped his 25-year-old super-model girlfriend Madalina Ghenea January because she reportedly wanted a ring, laments that he just hasn't found his on true love yet

Gerard Butler has certainly dated the cream of the Hollywood crop; at one time or another, he has been connected to Naomi Campbell, Angelina Jolie, Emmy Rossum, Cameron Diaz and even Jennifer Aniston.

But Gerard still hasn't found that special someone to share the rest of his life with; or as he told Daily Mail perhaps he just wasn't paying enough attention at the time:

I've have not met the one princess yet.

"That doesn't mean I have not met a lot of princesses along the way, but not the one and only yet.

"Or maybe I have and she might come back into my life at some point. You should never rule out anything. But am I seeing the one now? The answer, sadly, is no."

Though he reportedly dropped Italian actress Madalina Ghenea because she wanted him to pop the question, Gerard is serious about having a family in the future, it just t has to be with the right woman (via Daily Mail):

Ewan McGregor made Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie cry (FANSHARE)

Jolie hosted a special screening of the film in London, boasting about the performances, especially from Ewan McGregor [who plays the father and husband].

When she spoke before the screening, she addressed her comments [via USA Today] directly to Ewan, who was seated in the audience, and said, "I have known you for years and you are one of my favorite actors and I've always loved to watch you, but I watched this and I didn't recognize you.  To say it is one of the best performances of the year, really doesn't give it credit, because it doesn't feel like a performance. It's from such an honest place and so deeply emotional."

James McAvoy: Wanted 2 Will Find James McAvoy Recruiting New Female Character Wednesday, October 24th, 2012 at 7:45am by Kevin Melrose (SPIN OFF ON LINE)

When last we heard about Wanted 2, the long-promised sequel to the 2008 action film very loosely based on the comic by Mark Millar and J.G. Jones, director Timur Bekmambetov revealed he’d finally had a breakthrough on the story and original screenwriters Michael Brandt and Derek Haas were hard at work on the script.

Now, some four months later, Haas tells Hollywood.com that he and his collaborator are about to deliver a second draft that picks up with James McAvoy’s William Gibson four years after the events of the first film. “The only thing I can tell you is that Wesley is now, four years later, recruiting a young woman who is in his situation in the first movie,” he said. “She’s got a shitty life. He’s sort of in the Fox role. This new girl is brought into the world.”

Wanted starred McAvoy as a frustrated accountant who discovers he’s the son of a professional assassin and decides to join the thousand-year-old secret society for which his father worked. The film, which grossed about $340 million worldwide on a $75 million budget, also starred Angelina Jolie as Fox, who becomes Wesley’s mentor, and Morgan Freeman as Sloan.

Hugh Grant Sues News Corp. Over Phone Hacking by Tabloid By Erik Larson - Sep 14, 2012 10:26 AM ET (BLOOMBERG)

Hugh Grant, the British actor who told a media-ethics inquiry the press had become “toxic” in its pursuit of celebrity gossip, sued News Corp. (NWSA)’s U.K. unit over claims its News of the World tabloid hacked his phone.

The lawsuit was filed yesterday in London, his lawyer Mark Thomson said in an e-mail. Grant, 52, joins Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and 34 other victims who lodged claims yesterday, racing to beat the deadline for the civil suit which won’t begin before May 1.

Grant, who starred in the comedy “Notting Hill,” told the inquiry in November that phone hacking was probably used by other publishers. He said he’d suffered numerous media intrusions, such as a break-in at his apartment in 1995 and tabloids running stories about private medical treatments.

The now-defunct tabloid targeted some of the best-known celebrities, including U.S. actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and England soccer player Wayne Rooney, prosecutors said in July. Rebekah Brooks, the former chief executive officer of News Corp.’s U.K. publisher, and seven others were charged with conspiring between 2000 and 2006 to hack the phone messages of more than 600 people.

CLIVE OWEN: 'I never wanted to be a movie star. And I didn't become an actor to become famous': Clive Owen on fame, football and fatherhood By MARTYN PALMER (DAILY MAIL)

'I've always been a great believer that almost anybody on this planet can sit in the back of a pub, quietly in the corner, have a few drinks and walk out pretty much unbothered,' said Clive Owen

After 20 years in the business, Clive Owen admits that he still experiences spine-tingling moments.

Surprisingly, they are not from sharing film scenes with legends such as Robert De Niro (who inspired him to become an actor) or Angelina Jolie (one of a litany of leading ladies with whom he’s starred) – they are from meeting footballers.

The self-confessed Liverpool fanatic recently crossed paths with Thierry Henry on a street in Manhattan, where the French striker is based while playing for New York Red Bulls.

‘I literally bumped into him,’ says Owen. ‘I had never met him before and we discovered we were staying on the same street. We went out to dinner a few times and hung out.’

Clive with Gillian Anderson in Shadow Dancer. A tense drama set in Northern Ireland during the early Nineties, the film is based on a novel and screenplay by ITN's political editor Tom Bradby

As well as Jolie, Owen has co-starred with Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Keira Knightley, Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Aniston, Julianne Moore and Naomi Watts.

Indeed, his list of leading ladies reads like a Who’s Who. But when asked about his ‘pinch me’ moments, he admits, ‘I never think of meeting actors. I think of the times I’ve met footballers.’

Scratch the surface, and the 47-year-old from Coventry is a man of contradictions: a quintessentially cool style icon with a boyish love of sport; a Hollywood leading man who lives a quiet life in London with his family; an intensely private person, who at 6ft 2in with chiselled good looks, attracts attention wherever he goes.

Imelda Staunton Joins Maleficent Sam Riley and more aboard fairy tale 07 May 2012 | Written by James White | Source: The Hollywood Reporter (EMPIRE)

Being around magic in Nanny McPhee and two of the Harry Potter films has clearly not put Imelda Staunton off the idea. She’s signed on to lead a batch of British actors into the cast of Disney’s Maleficent, joining stars Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning.

Robert Stromberg is behind the camera for the film, a new, live-action version of Sleeping Beauty that puts Maleficent’s point of view front and centre.

Staunton and Lesley Manville are playing Knotgrass and Flittle, two of the pixies who help to take care of Fanning’s Princess Aurora. Miranda Richardson is aboard to play Queen Ulla, the Fairy Queen who happens to be Maleficent’s aunt, and not all that keen on her niece.

Kenneth Cranham will be the human king, who has his eye on conquering the fairy kingdom, while Sam Riley has landed the role of Diaval, a raven who can shift into human form and serves Maleficent.
