She’s braced for a return to the big screen in Ben Affleck’s cinematic adaptation of Gone Girl, the bestselling 2012 thriller by Gillian Flynn.
Stepping out in Hawaii this week, the only thing that appeared to be gone were Rosamund Pike’s clothes as she showed off a set of nicely sculpted abs.
The 35-year-old actress – a former Bond girl – has looked increasingly toned of late, and her recent outing in Southern California revealed the fruits of her healthy lifestyle as she padded across the sand in a pastel pink bikini.
Idling on the sand, the couple doted over their son, with Robie placing a hat on his head as Rosamund looked on.
The actress started dating the businessman, a twice married father of four, in December 2009, three years before announcing her pregnancy.
Eton educated Uniacke, a former heroin addict, was previously married to Emma Howard, 59, daughter of the late Earl of Carlisle with whom he has a son also called Robie.
The marriage ended unhappily and both checked into rehab clinics to deal with their addictions.
His second wife, Rose Batstone, is an interior designer with whom he has three children.

Tom Hiddleston’s 5 best impressions, From the Cookie Monster to Alan Rickman
METRO

Tilda Swinton has become the latest celebrity to experience Tom Hiddleston’s knack for uncanny impressions.
Tilda stars in Jim Jarmusch-directed vampire flick Only Lovers Left Alive with Hiddleston, and revealed that her co-star spent a lot of their time together dazzling her with impressions.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, she said: ‘We just sort of chewed it and had a great time. We were nocturnal quite a lot, and we played all sorts of silly stuff. He does quite a lot of impressions pretty constantly.’
While admitting she hadn’t heard Tom do an impersonation of her she added that ‘I have seen his Jim Jarmusch and its very good!’
Hiddleston has been getting Hiddlestoners hot under the collar with his scarily accurate mimicry, but which impression is the best? Here’s our (not definitive) ranking.
5) Chris Evans
Captain America Chris Evans has starred with Hiddleston in Marvel’s Avengers Assemble and Thor: The Dark World (albeit briefly), and the pair have done quite a few press rounds, so its unsurprising that Tom has got Evans’ mannerisms on point.
Verdict: While cute, it’s not one of Tom’s better ones though, and nothing beats Evans’ actual speaking voice. Nothing.
4) Samuel L Jackson
It’s a big risk taking on someone as legendary as Samuel L Jackson, but not only does Tom have a go, he puts a Jackson spin on his much-loved Marvel villain Loki.
Verdict: The ‘I am burdened with glorious mother*****g purpose’ line is gold, but you can’t take on Samuel L Jackson and win.
3) Cookie Monster

Benedict Cumberbatch involved in parking lot brawl during Oscars
TIMES OF INDIA
ANI | Mar 14, 2014, 12.14 PM IST
Benedict Cumberbatch was apparently involved in a brawl during Oscars weekend earlier this month.
The 'Sherlock' star was reportedly caught in the middle of a scuffle between his limo driver, valets and security over a parking spot outside a Los Angeles hotel.
A source told the National Enquirer that when Cumberbatch's driver pulled up to the hotel, he failed to drive into the semicircular driveway and parked his limo on the street which blocked the exit.
Cumberbatch reportedly tried to diffuse the situation by asking his limo driver to move the vehicle, but a fight eventually broke out.

Charles Edwards on Downton Abbey Buzz, His J-Law Moment & Learning From Angela Lansbury in London's Blithe Spirit
BROADWAY BUZZ
By Matt Wolf March 13, 2014 - 12:21PM
Charles Edwards has quietly but firmly asserted himself as one of the finest English actors of his generation, moving from London and Broadway runs in The 39 Steps, to National Theatre stints in This House and Strange Interlude, to a buoyant Much Ado About Nothing at Shakespeare’s Globe—oh, and as Lady Edith's love interest in Downton Abbey, too. But this month he has arguably his highest-profile stage gig to date, starring opposite Dame Angela Lansbury in Blithe Spirit, opening March 18 at the Gielgud Theatre. Both Lansbury and Edwards are reprising their roles in the Noel Coward comic classic—Lansbury won a Tony Award for her performance in Michael Blakemore’s 2009 Broadway revival, while Edwards made his theatrical debut as novelist Charles Condomine in 1993. Broadway.com chatted with Edwards about sharing the stage with a spritely 88-year-old, channeling Jennifer Lawrence and the “great fun” of filming Downton Abbey.
This production has the feel of something special, in part because of its leading lady. Does it feel that way from the inside?
Without a doubt, it has been very special to be part of the feeling that is generated every night by the London audience seeing Angela back on stage. There is applause on her entrance, which I think is quite right, and the reception has been extremely warm.
And the fact that she will be 89 later this year really is extraordinary.
Yes, but you just simply wouldn’t know it. She’s got so much vitality in her body and in herself—she’s extraordinary.
The rehearsals must have brought back copious memories for her.
What’s been wonderful is to hear about Angela’s life. She’s often quoted as being born in the East End but actually she was born in Regent’s Park, where we rehearsed, and her grandfather, George Lansbury, was a Labour politician, and then of course her mother was an actress who made her debut at the very theater where we are now. All that is very touching for her to remember and she does so with such vivacity. There’s no sense of the wandering recollections of a woman of a certain age. She remembers it all as if it were yesterday.
Presumably there have been concessions made to age—naps, for instance?
[Laughs.] Any naps have taken place during the lunch break and not during afternoon rehearsals! What’s amazing is that we have a director [Michael Blakemore] who is himself 85, though he’s another one where you simply would not guess it. And if he or Angela sometimes like a rest at lunchtime, so do I.
Angela Lansbury and Michael Blakemore previously collaborated on this play five years ago on Broadway. Has that made a difference for you and the other new cast members?
We were all certainly aware that Michael had done the play before and had a blueprint of it, and he has also referenced original Coward productions at various times. But naturally because we were a new cast, anything was welcome and there was no suggestion of “we did it this way before.” In that way, it’s been quite different to The 39 Steps, where people who have subsequently played Hannay have had to stick to a fairly rigid blueprint. There’s been none of that for us.
You’re no stranger to Coward, having appeared in Hay Fever and Private Lives.
In fact, my very first play out of drama school was Blithe Spirit at Harrogate [in Yorkshire] when I was 24! All I remember is coming down the stairs all suave and sophisticated and then tripping on the carpet, and that was my very first professional entrance [laughs].

‘You’re extremely short and well-mannered’: Wacky Norwegians parody Sherlock in style
METRO
Caroline Westbrook
Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman have found themselves no stranger to parody since Sherlock began.
And the latest spoof of the detective duo comes courtesy of a couple of Norwegian lookalikes, who have taken their obvious resemblance to Holmes and Watson – not to mention the duo’s bromance – to new levels of silliness.
‘Vidar Magnussen (Sherlock Holmes) and Bjarte Tjøstheim (John Watson) in the Entertainment Department at NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation) are both fans of the BBC series “Sherlock,’ the pair explain on YouTube.
‘When they realised the similarity they decided to make a parody.’
The ensuing clip sees the duo delivering oddly accurate portrayals of Cumberbatch and Freeman’s protagonists, even going as far as a romantic liason.

‘300’ Gerard Butler Dating Update: Dumped Girlfriend Model Madalina Ghenea; Can’t Find Love
CLASSICALITE

But Gerard still hasn't found that special someone to share the rest of his life with; or as he told Daily Mail perhaps he just wasn't paying enough attention at the time:
I've have not met the one princess yet.
"That doesn't mean I have not met a lot of princesses along the way, but not the one and only yet.
"Or maybe I have and she might come back into my life at some point. You should never rule out anything. But am I seeing the one now? The answer, sadly, is no."
Though he reportedly dropped Italian actress Madalina Ghenea because she wanted him to pop the question, Gerard is serious about having a family in the future, it just t has to be with the right woman (via Daily Mail):

When it comes to finding the right woman, Gerard Butler, best known for his role in 300, must be the pickiest man in the entire world, or at least in Scotland. During a recent romance update, the actor, who dumped his 25-year-old super-model girlfriend Madalina Ghenea January because she reportedly wanted a ring, laments that he just hasn't found his on true love yet
Gerard Butler has certainly dated the cream of the Hollywood crop; at one time or another, he has been connected to Naomi Campbell, Angelina Jolie, Emmy Rossum, Cameron Diaz and even Jennifer Aniston.

Benedict Cumberbatch's Character To Be More 'Human' In New Season; Moriarty's Comeback Confirmed By Executive Producers!
KDRAMA STARS
By Staff Writer | Mar 13, 2014 09:25 AM EDT
The cat is out of bag about the fate of Sherlock Holmes' famous villain.
The popular BBC detective series co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss spoke in a Royal Television Society's event last week and confirmed that Jim Moriarty is set to return in Season 4, as reported by Hollywood Reporter.
The so-called "consulting criminal" played by Andrew Scott shot himself to death in Episode 3 of the series' Season 2. It is unknown though what theory are they going to use to disclaim his alleged suicide. Gatiss and Moffat admitted that the "did you miss me" scene in Season 3 was not a last minute addition as they "had long planned the twist."
The producers also revealed everything is already figured out about "what will happen in the next season," though these plans will "get more detailed" as the production deadline draws closer, Hollywood Reporter said. The future of the show lies on the availability of the lead characters as both Star Trek: Into Darkness star Benedict Cumberbatch and The Hobbit actor Martin Freeman are busy with other film projects.
"There was suddenly a kind of outraged response that it might not be back until 2016 but that's precisely how long it always is. It's always two years! But we'd like to return soon, of course," Mark Gatiss, who also plays Sherlock's old brother Mycroft Holmes, told Metro.

MIRROR
Mar 12, 2014 22:00 By Halina Watts
What would Lord Grantham’s mother say? The stars of Downton Abbey have been auditioning for the latest Star Wars blockbuster.
JJ Abrams, who is directing the seventh instalment of the sci-fi saga, has visited the Highclere Castle set looking for actors.
Lesley Nicol, 60, who plays cook Beryl Patmore, said: “JJ Abrams came to the set last year and he is just about to do the next Star Wars movie. He loves the show, and he checked a few of us to star in the film.”
As well as Lesley, other actors who may find themselves sitting in the Millennium Falcon include Hugh Bonneville, who plays Lord Grantham and Michelle Dockery, who stars as his eldest daughter Lady Mary .
Even the old dowager herself, Dame Maggie Smith, could soon be giving short shrift to Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Abrams, who starts filming Star Wars Episode VII in London in May, gushed about the ITV period drama. The 44-year-old Star Trek director said: “It’s absolute soap opera – done triple-A plus.

Benedict Cumberbatch hints at Star Trek 3 return
DIGITAL SPY
By Emma Dibdin
Wednesday, Mar 12 2014, 11:03am EDT
The actor revived iconic villain Khan in JJ Abrams's Star Trek Into Darkness last year, and the film ended with the character being placed in cryogenic sleep along with his crew, leaving the door open for a return.
"That was a stupid thing to do," Cumberbatch joked during an interview with The New York Times. "They should have just blown me up."
Abrams will not return to direct the third installment in his rebooted Trek series, owing to his commitment to Disney's upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, but will stay on as producer.

She has a large collection of very fashionable friends as well as of course the dapper Colin Firth as her husband.
And on Tuesday evening Livia once again showed off her style credentials as she attended The Contemporary Art Society gala at the Tobacco Dock, London alongside the actor.
The mother-of-three turned heads wearing a bold Sixties inspired floral dress which looked both fun and elegant.
The Rome-born producer, who has been married to Colin since 1997, carried a small pink clutch bag and wore thick black tights with a pair of black heels.
Colin meanwhile wasn’t quite so adventurous and wore a smart dark blue suit, which made him look particularly dashing.

Rosamund Pike: ‘Gone Girl’ Movie Spoilers: 5 Things We Know About The Gillian Flynn Film Adaptation
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TIMES
By Rebecka Schumann
on March 11 2014 2:33 PM
“Gone Girl,” the film adaptation of the best-selling Gillian Flynn novel, has already wrapped filming, but fans of the popular crime/drama are still being kept in the dark regarding the upcoming feature. Despite being in post-production, the movie, which follows the tale of Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck), a journalist in the search of his missing wife, Amy Dunne (Rosamund Pike), only a singular image of the feature showing Affleck doing his best impression of the fictional character has since been released.
Fortunately for fans that cannot wait for the film’s October 3, 2014 release, here are five other things we know about the upcoming David Fincher directed adaptation:
Already getting Oscar buzz
“Gone Girl” has yet to release a teaser, yet movie buffs are already giving the David Fincher film Oscar buzz. Could this Gillian Flynn adaptation earn itself an Academy Award statuette for best picture? The future remains to be seen for this crime/drama, but according to multiple film critics, the feature does have a shot for a nomination following Fincher’s “The Social Network” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” recognitions for directing.
A new third act
Despite Flynn already completing fictional characters Nick and Amy Dunne's story following the completion of the 2012 novel, the movie will reportedly use a different ending than the best-selling book. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly (her former employer) in January, Flynn revealed that as the film’s screenwriter she had been hired to write a new third act for the story’s silver screen debut, a proposition she appeared to be more than happy to fulfill. “There was something thrilling about taking this piece of work that I’d spent about two years painstakingly putting together with all its eight million LEGO pieces and take a hammer to it and bash it apart and reassemble it into a movie,” Flynn told the magazine.
Rosamund Pike beat out big names
Rosamund Pike, a native British actress, best known for her role in the 2012 Tom Cruise thriller “Jack Reacher,” has fame incomparable to the likes of Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman and Emily Blunt, but the 35-year-old film star reportedly beat out all the big name A-listers scoring the film's leading role of Amy Dunne. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Pike also trumped actors Abbie Cornish and Olivia Wilde to play the “Gone Girl” leading lady.

Is Mr. Bates a Murderer? The Downton Abbey Cast Weighs In!
WET PAINT
March 10, 2014 at 07:50PM EDT by Elisabeth Kramer
Not that we blame Bates, of course. In fact, one of Season 4’s parting shots is of Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) ripping up evidence that could potentially link Bates to the scene of the crime, a sign that seems to suggest she supports whatever her father’s valet may or may not have done to protect his wife. So what does the rest of the Downton Abbey cast make of the situation? Is Bates a murderer or, if you also believe he killed his first wife, the meddlesome Vera, earlier in the series, a double murderer?
“As a viewer, yeah. Definitely,” Hugh Bonneville (Robert) said with a laugh while chatting with PBS.
“It’s very interesting to imagine him as a double murderer,” added Laura Carmichael (Lady Edith). “And the nice thing is, you’re still on his side.”
“He is an enigma, Bates,” says Allen Leech (Tom Cullen). “Why does he really have a limp? I think he’s carrying a shotgun under that leg.”
Hear what the rest of the cast has to say of their fellow Downton member, and tell us your thoughts on the matter in the comments below!

Sean Bean Struggles With His Identity In Legends Trailer, TNT Sets August Premiere
TV BLEND
BY KELLY WEST 2014-03-10 16:24:28
TNT released a new trailer for Howard Gordon's suspenseful looking drama Legends at SXSW this week. The drama puts Sean Bean back on the small screen in a starring role, this time around playing an undercover FBI agents who begins to struggle with what looks like a pretty major identity crisis.TNT has it on the schedule to debut this August.
Legends has received an August 20 premiere date at TNT, which barely qualifies it as a Summer series, considering it'll likely run over into the Fall season, but that's just fine. Those looking for some serious action may find it here, judging by the new trailer. Based on a book from Robert Littell, Legends stars Sean Bean as Martin Odum, an undercover agent among the FBI's Deep Cover Operations division. The character's ability to transform himself into a different person for each assignment makes him a perfect fit for this kind of work. But what if his actual life and personality isn't what he thinks it is? The series synopsis indicates that a mysterious stranger will offer that suggestion to Odum, and the trailer certainly reveals some confusion on the part of the lead character. There's a moment where his son asks him about bad guys and he looks confused, and later his coworkers note that his accent changed.

‘Downton Abbey’ cast discuss what they want for their characters in season 5
HYPBABLE
By Andrew Sims (@sims) at 7:00 pm, March 10, 2014 | Reviewed by Karen Rought
Downton Abbey season 5 has already started filming, so what do the cast members want for their respective characters in the new episodes?
PBS has released a video compilation depicting a few actors sharing their hopes for Downton Abbey season 5. Each idea seems feasible in our book.
Rob James-Collier offers up a theory that, if history is any indication, Thomas will make an attempt at love with another man in season 5. His reasoning? Thomas made moves in seasons 1 and 3, so he’s due for a new beau in 5.
Laura Carmichael, who plays Edith, hopes she and her character’s baby will have scenes together but realizes it may be difficult if she wants to continue keeping the child a secret. We know Edith’s child will be at the home of a farmer – a task she organized at the end of season 4.
Mrs. Patmore actress Lesley Nichol says she would like to have a scene between her character and Lady Violet (Maggie Smith). When she said this, it made us realize just how separated some of the characters are from one another despite being in the same house.

Keira Knightley is on auntie duty as she gets behind the pushchair while joining her glamorous mother for a day out with baby relative

They've been married for almost a year and have just bought a rambling swanky pad together so it's only natural that Keira Knightley might be thinking babies.
For the 28-year-old Pride and Prejudice star has already expressed a burning desire for children with husband James Righton, but has put her plans for impending motherhood on hold due to work commitments.
Despite her gruelling filming schedules, Keira's yearning for family time clearly hasn't been dampened since she spent time pushing a young relative in a pram through the streets of north London with her glamorous mother on Sunday.
At one stage she stopped to talk baby language to the tot swaddled in blankets in a red pram.
With only a loose dusting of make-up, the Hollywood actress still managed to look stylish in a pair of black-rimmed glasses and wore her long brown tresses down.
Together they looked the perfect mother and grandmother enjoying a stroll through the sun-dappled streets of London.
Keira and her Klaxons singer beau, 28, tied the knot in Mazan, Vaucluse, France, in May 2013 and recently bought a new £3.9million home in London’s Canonbury, Islington, after selling their east London pad.
